Porsche Carrera Cup GB
For the last 10 years, Porsche Carrera Cup GB has been a staple part of the BTCC package and one of the most prestigious and exciting championships in the country – in fact, it’s right at the pinnacle of the UK motorsport scene.
Enjoying a massive grid in 2011, Porsche Carrera Cup GB delivered superb racing with the sight and sound of around 30 911 GT3 cars doing battle at high speed a treat to behold. Celebrating its 10th anniversary in 2012, the fastest one-make championship in the UK is set for a tremendous year.
The category actually features three championships within the main championship. In addition to the overall ‘Pro’ class title battle which is always fiercely contested, there are championships for ‘Pro-Am1’ and ‘Pro-Am2’ for competitors with differing levels of skill and performance.
